Where’s The Weirdest Place You’ve Ever …Blogged?
The Roots crashed last night on their tour bus as they were on their way to Paris, France to perform with Kanye West.
?uestlove took to blogging on the ambulance on their way to the hospital, and he wrote this:
“In reality the crash was all of about 7 seconds….but to do a 360 on the highway and end up ramped up (the van that crashed into ours was UNDER our double decker bus) in the air….is….well… a frigging miracle.”
He added, “Dog we are soooo alive right now.”
?uestlove explained that the band suffered injuries resulting in “cuts and neck braces,” and that they are incredibly grateful that the accident wasn’t more serious. “That was divine intervention. We are so grateful for this outcome,” he said.
It still isn’t know whether they’ll play tonight or not.
Why does nothing ever happen to famous people?! Don’t get me wrong, I wish no ill upon anyone - famous or not. But damn, man, Kanye’s been arrested twice in the past month and released without a word, Travis and DJ AM cheated death better than those final destiny guys while the other unfamous dudes got the shit end of the deal…now these guys end up suspended in midair in a f*cking double decker and this guy has nothing better to do on the ambulance than BLOG!?
It’s about time I became famous.
